Ministry of Education Malaysia (MoE) together with UPM recently organized the AiXChange CEO@Faculty Appreciation Ceremony 2019 which took place on July 11, 2019 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

MoE has established various initiatives to enhance the direction for higher education towards achieving excellence for the nation higher education system. Among the initiatives created are the Academia-Industry Talent Exchange Programme (AIxCHANGE): CEO@Faculty Programme as a platform for knowledge sharing and expertise between academia and industry.

"Under the AIxCHANGE initiative there are three sub-initiatives namely CEO@Faculty Program 1.0, CEO@Faculty Program 2.0, and the Academia Industry Expert Exchange Programme (AIxPERT)," said YB Minister of Education, Dr. Maszlee Malik at the AIxCHANGE CEO@Faculty Program 2019 Appreciation Ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.

YB Dr. Maszlee was represented by his deputy YB Mrs. Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister of Education as officiator meanwhile the other honourable guests are YBhg. Dato 'Dr. Mohd Gazali Abas, Chief Secretary of MoE and YBhg. Datin Paduka Ir. Dr. Siti Hamisah Tapsir, Director General of Higher Education.

About 700 guests attended the evening ceremony consisting of nearly 80 corporate leaders from private companies, government-linked companies (GLCs) and multinational corporations (MNCs) also representatives from public and private universities.
